RAVE ROTTI
Ingredients :
- Rave – 1 cup
- Onion – 2 medium
- Dry chillies – 3 no.
- Coriander leaves – 1/4th cup
- Mustard seeds – 1/4th tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 + 1 tsp
Procedure :
- In a wok add 2 tsp of oil and heat it up.
- Add mustard seeds, followed by urad dal and Bengal gram.
- Add chopped onion and dry chillies and fry well.
- Add salt to taste and give it a good mix.
- Now add rave and fry for couple of minutes.
- Take off flame and allow it to cool.
- Add water and make a soft dough.
- Grease a tawa and pat rotti on it . keep the tawa on medium low flame and cook on both sides of the rotti for 5 minutes each side.
