Rave Rotti

                                                                                                RAVE ROTTI

Ingredients :

  • Rave – 1 cup
  • Onion – 2 medium
  • Dry chillies – 3 no.
  • Coriander leaves – 1/4th cup
  • Mustard seeds – 1/4th tsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 + 1 tsp

Procedure :

  1. In a wok add 2 tsp of oil and heat it up.
  2. Add mustard seeds, followed by urad dal and Bengal gram.
  3. Add chopped onion and dry chillies and fry well.
  4. Add salt to taste and give it a good mix.
  5. Now add rave and fry for couple of minutes.
  6. Take off flame and allow it to cool.
  7. Add water and make a soft dough.
  8. Grease a tawa and pat rotti on it . keep the tawa on medium low flame and cook on both sides of the rotti for 5 minutes each side.
